Today saw Dunstable host 125 Bedfordshire Sea Cadets for the Annual Drill and Piping Competition.

Dunstable Sea Cadets took home 2nd place for the Unarmed Drill and 2nd place for the Unarmed Squad Commander. The Royal Marines Cadets won their Drill Competition and also the best Marine Squad Commander.

We also took part in the piping and whilst not placed, we know what to do next year and well done to our lone piper.

In a surprise announcement today we are pleased to share the following:

PO Worker was awarded a Lord Lieutenants commendation for service to Dunstable Sea Cadets and the District.

Also POC Kayte was told she would be the next Lord Lieutenant's Cadet. We wish her a great year.

Congratulations to all who took part today.

Many thanks to the Staff and Cadets who have been practicing in the cold and the rain over the last 2 months to make this weekend a brilliant success.

We wish the Cadets good luck at Eastern Area competition in the new year.

Remembrance Day

My thanks to the Cadets and my Staff who took part in today's parade. You are a tribute to the town.
It was also great to see all the veterans, the ATC and ACF cadets and others on the Parade .
It seemed to be a very large turnout and very well marshalled.
The Cadets have gone on to do their Drill practice for the rest of the day.
Many thanks to you all and I am so proud of you you.
