Old Mill Open Day 6th June 2015

Mill Open Day

How many local residents know there's a 200 year old mill, right in the center of Dunstable?
First it was a windmill, then a steam mill and finally it was driven by diesel. The mill tower is still standing at the end of its drive next to The Catholic Church in West Street.

For the first time since the 2nd World War, the Old Mill will be open to the general public
Dunstable Sea Cadets cordially invites the Town to join them for a cup of tea on Saturday 6th June 2015
Doors open 10:00

District Regatta

District Regatta

Very proud of the cadets from Dunstable Sea Cadets who represented the unit at today's District Regatta.
You all tried your best and were an example to the district.
Thank you to the cadets who stood in for the junior boys and open girls teams which meant that these teams could actually compete. I know that this meant that you rowed twice as much as everyone else, and yet you still gave your all until the end.
Congratulations to AC Ellis, AC Peter & Cdt 1 Nathan who won the powerboat handling.
Thank you all for your commitment and enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
APO Hedges.
