We welcomed aboard the High Sherriff who inspected the cadets and then presented Gosforth with the District Achievement Trophy. After an excellent year of competition wins and activities.
Sadly it looks like our minibus 'Bessie' will be retiring from Sea Cadet service due to mechanical failure.
After three MACT weekends we welcome on board our newly qualified cadets in Stewarding, Catering and first aid.
Gosforth Unit starts the New Year with the Commanding Officer A/Lt Healy stepping down and PO Davies taking over command as the Officer in Charge. We wish A/Lt Healy good luck in his new posting as ADO of Tyne South District.
