Following the final competition of the year, the Cross Country- Gosforth unit won the District Sporting Trophy for the first time ever. Earlier victories in Football, Piping, Rowing, Boat Handling and Sailing had been backed up with strong showings in all of the other events and the unit triumphed by a single point over the strong finishing Ashington unit. Well done and thank you to all those cadets who have participated in competitions throughout 2012- can we hold onto the trophy in 2013???

We will remember them.
