Middlesbrough Cadets enjoyed powerboating and sailing over the weekend which included a trip to Newcastle Quayside on the Sunday.
Lots of new skills and qualifications gained, thanks to the staff at Derwenthaugh boat station!
Cadets taught to handle powerboats such as the champ pictured. They gained RYA Power Level 1 over the weekend!
Brilliant weather and scenery for the weekend on the water!
LC Lacey and OC Keeley are spending 2 weeks on board the Sea Cadets Sailing Vessel TS Royalist. They are sailing from Inverness to Greenock over the course of two weeks and visited Loch Ness on the way!

Several cadets and Adults have spent up to 2 weeks offshore this summer on the Sea Cadet Yachts, Power vessel - TS Jack Petchey and the Sailing Brig - TS Royalist visiting many locations around the British Isles. Bursaries are available for cadets !
