Happy St Georges Day!!
Usually we will attend the annual St George's Day parade at the church of our Padre, Ch (SCC) Jonathan Thomas RNR, St Peter's in Old Woking. unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to do this. However, we have got two cadets who are doing a virtual reading and will participate in a pre-recorded service.
The service will be available from 1000 on Sunday 26th April 2020 on http://www.stpeterwoking.org/sundaylive

On the weekend of the 25th to the 27th of May we had the pleasure of being able to take a group of 12 cadets (both sea and marine cadets) away for the weekend to Middle hill (Southern Area Adventure Training) during this weekend the cadets were split into two groups where they took it in turn throughout the Saturday to participate in bushcraft which involved the learning and making of different shelters within the woodland area as well as making fire using natural resources. They also spend the saturday participating in mountain biking where they went out with the instructor P.O Murphy onto the varuious different trails around the camp. The sunday brought us a day of archery with P.O Jacobs where the cfadets learned how to hold and fire a bow onto a target whilst incorporating different games and challenges into this.
