Cadets are needed to assist the British Legion in the sale of poppies in Somerton on Saturday 10th.
Please let us know if you can do the morning or afternoon.
Details of who will do what time periods will be given on Friday night.

Remembrance Parade - Sunday 11th November
This year we will be taking part in parades in Yeovil and Somerton. Cadets living in Somerton and surrounding areas should attend the Somerton parade and those living in or near Yeovil should attend the one there.

The Remembrance Parade is one that we request all cadets to attend every year. If there is a valid reason why a cadet cannot take part (eg taking part in a parade elsewhere) we ask that their parent/carer lets us know in writing or via email.
Important - Bronze D of E
A final assessed expedition for the Bronze Award is planned for 2-4 November. Unfortunately this will be your only opportunity to do the expedition this year. You need to ensure all the other sections have been signed off if you wish to confirm your place on the weekend. Please let CPO Pollard know by Tuesday 11th September if you are able to take part.

Congratulations to RMCD
The detachment had their annual Field Assessment and achieved a score of 67 Very Good.
Well done to the team, their back up and all the staff who have been involved in the training.
Friday 7th September
Friday night sailing is finished for the year and so cadets will be at the unit from now on.
Don't forget it is Divisions on the first Friday of each month.
