The Mayor of Maldon came to our unit for the weekend to teach five cadets to first class level the qulification of First Aid. In addition to this he also taught four members of staff First Aid at work - several of which were renewals. As the nature of the qualification is age restricted, the cadets will recieve the qualification of First Aid at work when they are old enough. A big well done to all the cadets and staff who achieved this award, and a big thank-you to the Mayor of Maldon, and his team for giving up their time to give this vital training! =)
We entered the Area Five-a-side football competition, even though there was heavy snow. Our teams managed to demonstrate once again that we are a strong unit with all of our teams doing well - and even securing a place in thr District Competition for both the senior girls and the mixed nozzers teams! So well done guys!

Celebrating the success of this years Row for a Reason we were invited to their Christmas Party.
After much merriment we were further awarded with a giant novelty presentation cheque - now we just need to find somewhere to cash it, perhaps an oversized ATM ;)
