District Guard, Drill and Piping competition

District Guard, Drill and Piping competition

Sunday 18 November

We entered the District cadet competition at The James Hornsby High School, Basildon. All teams did exceedingly well (as usual) so a big congratulations to all those who were able to partake! We certainly showed what a lot of practice and dedication achieves!

As well as receiving awards for this competition - as it was the final competition - the cadets also received other awards for other achievements through-out the year. Further the awards for final placement for the entire year, our cadets were a few points off of coming first in the district this year (hopefully next year we will be able to achieve this) and our junior’s cadets came first over the whole district for the year! Big congratulations for any cadets who have helped our unit achieve this!
