Write up about his recent experience at the 350th Royal Marine Anniversary parade in London by MC2 Bradley.
I was given the opportunity to parade in London for the 350th Royal Marine anniversary when I was at Nationals for drill. It wasn't until I got to Portsmouth for training that I was selected to be in the review datachment (this means I and 48 others will be inspected by HRH Prince Philip).
As the training went I grew more nervous, but I thought about how in a few hours I will be meeting royalty! I have majorly enjoyed this experience and I will probably never take part in another parade as big as I did on the 8th of July 2014.
For this I am grateful to the Sea Cadet organisation and my unit for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity.
