MULTI ACTIVITY CADET TRAINING

For two cadets the bank holiday weekend provided the opportunity to attend the London Area multi activity training at Crowborough Army Camp.

Book your place on the next one to be held at Longmoor Camp 17 to 19 July 2015.

In May we have cadets going offshore on TS Jack Petchey, full-bore shooting at HMS Raleigh and RYA YSS stage 3 at RVDBS.

And there are many more activities to get involved in.

London Marathon

London Marathon

Southwark cadets were out in force in support of the London Marathon providing assistance at the Quebec Way water station.

More than 38,000 people have taken part in the London Marathon, making it the biggest in the event's 35-year history.

Fund raisers, amateur runners and elite athletes tackled the 26.2 mile (42.2km) course from Blackheath to The Mall.

Paula Radcliffe, 41, a former winner and the current world record holder, ran her final marathon.

The Jack Petchey Awards for London Area Sea Cadets took place at Kensington Town Hall. All award winners from 2014 were invited to attend and Captain Sea Cadets, Captain Jonathan Holloway RN was present to congratulate all.

 Air, Army and Sea Cadets from London have once again taken part in the annual St George's Day parade in Whitehall which is organised by The Royal Society of St George. Southwark cadets attending were Sian Cummins, Alfie Button, Andrew East, Harry Tutt and Callum Peek.
